Favorite Place To Buy Sneakers Pt. 2
My second favorite place to purchase sneakers is an app and website called GOAT. First launched as an app, GOAT allowed people to shop for sneakers from the convenience of their couch scrolling through crisp photos on their phone.
Goat is simple to use and guarantees authentic sneakers. They offer new or used sneakers (more on this in a later post).
It’s pretty simple. A shopper creates an account inputing shoe size then they’re off to browse! Goat has almost every filter possible from size, price, brand, etc.
Just like StockX, GOAT is a resale site.
Shoppers can nab some great deals on this site. Sometime due to something as small as a missing lid the price will drop significantly.
I once ordered a pair of Saner x Air Force 1 ‘Jaguar’ through GOAT. They came in and I was so excited. However, once I opened the box there was a small amount of material missing on the side of the shoe. I had ordered a few pairs from GOAT before and never had any issues like this before. I’m not one who normally contacts customer service, but I contacted customer support with a quick email and picture of the missing material. Within a day, I received an apology, response, and a new pair were on its way to me.
How they handled the situation and the speed in which its customer service responded to my complaint is one of the reasons I shop consistently with GOAT.
One thing I love about the GOAT app is a favorite feature. Once an account is created, it allows you to heart a pair of sneakers and automatically places them in a “Wanted” folder. There, you can click back and check on pricing and shoes. Honestly, it’s a blessing and a curse. I go back and see shoes I love that I forgot about!
I’d love to know some places you love to pick up sneakers!
