We start this episode off with some big news - Hannah recently signed her first record deal with CURB Records.

Like most artists, Hannah always knew she was meant to be on stage. From a young age, she would sign up and enter into anything that had to do with singing.

Having made a few trips to Nashville in high school from Campbellsville, she quickly realized where she wanted to be. After receiving a full-ride academic scholarship and attending the University of Kentucky, she made the move to Nashville, TN.

From sync placements to cuts in multiple genres, she has been honing her writing skills since moving here seven years ago.

Her first single, “Officer Down” was released in 2016 which she wrote about her cousin Daniel Ellis. An incredibly well-written and heart-wrenching song dedicated to her fallen cousin. The lyric video is extremely personal and has over 2 million views.

Since releasing her first single, Hannah has garnered national attention for her artist path. She was named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country” while Rolling Stone named her one of their “Artists To Watch.”

While working on her artist career, Hannah has secured cuts by artists spanning multiple genres including: Filmore, Russell Dickerson, Carly Pearce, Emily Weisband, Cassadee Pope and many more.

Hannah opens up about the importance of growing as a writer and finding out who you are. She stresses the importance of patience, which she didn’t always have for her career and being strong in who she wanted to be.
